Yennen

aka Trader Yennen. The Guild's man in Hammerfall.

Yennen is a fat, amiable dwarf from the outer lands. He sat on The Pact for the Guild and kept the city's trade, money, and practical upkeep moving. He is friendly on the surface and very difficult to ignore when money is involved.

He stood with the party against The Speaker. Then, with Hannah newly dead, he stepped forward sweating, with Guild soldiers behind him and no scroll in his hand, and told the survivors that Hammerfall passed into Guild administration that night. The party was to be taken alive, all of them. He would not say whose instruction that was. "Nobody do anything... expensive."

He came to the cells afterwards, and he did not come to gloat. He apologised and he begged: give up Hammerfall, let the Guild have it, please. When the party broke out he told them of a secret way through the tunnels, and promised their gear would be waiting where the passage widens.

A Guild coin slipped from his pocket in the sanctum. It spun on the stone for a moment and was still.
