Hammerfall

aka Dres Elas

Hammerfall was so named by The Pact when the city was captured in 2790 BCE from its Elven population. It is a city of unparalleled Elven construction and safety which has stood for as long as anyone can remember. The city is built upon a natural harbour and rock formation which protects it from all sides. In addition to the natural defenses the city was said to be protected by impenetrable magics of the gods.

Hammerfall the city is divided into two areas and access between them is strictly maintained. Upper Hammerfall, and The Shallows.

The Pact's City

After the capture, four seats ruled Hammerfall: Ivar for the Norse, Orgrim for the Orks, Yennen for The Guild and The Speaker for The Chosen. When the Eastern Shallows rose against the Pact's cruelty, the reckoning ended with the ground itself tearing open into a gate to Hel.

The Guild's City

The Speaker shed his disguise and loosed the Blood Elves on the council. By morning the city was a graveyard, and worse than the dead were the missing, taken below. The Pact dissolved in daylight, and people fled the nightly horrors.

It did not stay ownerless. On the night Hannah died, Yennen stepped forward with Guild soldiers at his back and said that Hammerfall passed into Guild administration, effective that night.
