Valhalla

Valhalla, the Halls of the Chosen, is where Odin gathers the mightiest of the slain to feast and sharpen their weapons for the Last War. Warriors call his name in battle in hopes of earning a place there.

Gunnar bears runes carved in blood for Valhalla among the marks scarred into him at birth, alongside the rune for Hel: the two fates his unknown ritual may have been weighing between.
