The Chosen

The black-robed Chosen led the horde through the catacombs on the night Hammerfall fell, on the promise of a hidden way in. Afterwards they sat on The Pact, where The Speaker spoke for them, and they controlled the catacombs, religion, temples and sacrifice.

They served Hannah, and their work was her rebirth. The Speaker died for it. When she rose in the sanctum beneath Upper Hammerfall, the oldest of the Chosen were kneeling with their heads down and their hands open. She fed on them first. The newest converts broke and ran for the dark.
